See Change is owned and run by Jo Howard, lead­er­ship devel­op­ment con­sul­tant and coach. Her per­son­al com­mit­ment to coach­ing has grown from her belief that the coach exists to help peo­ple tap into their own strengths and knowl­edge – the answers often lie with­in. She is par­tic­u­lar­ly pas­sion­ate about help­ing peo­ple release their cre­ativ­i­ty. Hav­ing per­son­al­ly ben­e­fit­ed from coach­ing as a senior exec­u­tive, she is now ded­i­cat­ed to help­ing oth­er senior exec­u­tives enhance their per­for­mance, con­fi­dence and lead­er­ship capa­bil­i­ty through coaching.

Before devel­op­ing her coach­ing and con­sult­ing prac­tice, Jo led strat­e­gy devel­op­ment for WH Smith, and played a key role in busi­ness trans­for­ma­tion by lead­ing rede­f­i­n­i­tion of pur­pose, vision and brand. Before that she was Com­mer­cial Direc­tor, and then Sup­ply Chain Direc­tor of Waterstone’s Book­sellers. Dur­ing her cor­po­rate career she led sig­nif­i­cant projects in sup­ply chain, retail propo­si­tion devel­op­ment, strat­e­gy devel­op­ment and employ­ee engagement. 

Her many years at Board lev­el have pro­vid­ed valu­able insight into the fac­tors that help and hin­der top per­for­mance, both from indi­vid­u­als and with­in senior teams. She helps lead­ers to unlock the ener­gy and pas­sion latent in them­selves and their organisations. 

Jo gained an MBA, with dis­tinc­tion, in 2000, and a Post Grad­u­ate Diplo­ma in Coach­ing and Men­tor­ing, also with dis­tinc­tion, in 2011. Jo is also trained in coach­ing con­stel­la­tions: a trans­for­ma­tion­al, sys­temic and cre­ative approach to coach­ing, which aims to opti­mise people’s poten­tial at work through a sup­port­ive yet chal­leng­ing relationship.

The Turn­ing Point
Jo was a founder mem­ber of the Turn­ing Point, an inter­na­tion­al lead­er­ship devel­op­ment con­sul­tan­cy. Their mis­sion is to fos­ter the per­son­al lead­er­ship in Exec­u­tive, High Poten­tial and Senior Man­agers in the ser­vice of com­pelling visions and con­crete results, notably dur­ing strate­gic tran­si­tions. Their research into lead­er­ship informs their inno­v­a­tive learn­ing prac­tices. Jo works with them on cre­at­ing and deliv­er­ing tai­lor-made lead­er­ship and man­age­ment devel­op­ment pro­grammes, and exec­u­tive coaching.

Mosa­ic is an exec­u­tive search firm spe­cial­is­ing in pub­lish­ing, oth­er media, call cen­tres, busi­ness out­sourc­ing and the finan­cial and bank­ing sec­tors. Oper­at­ing in the UK and glob­al­ly, its clients include FTSE 250 com­pa­nies as well as small to mid-sized firms.
