In 1959 Anne McDermott set up Kitebrook with the aim to run a school that would not just provide academic rigour, but a place where the school would work together like a family, encouraging freedom of thought, individual development and mutual respect and trust. We want all our children to feel at home here, with the freedom to roam around the grounds in their free time. Kitebrook boys and girls make dens, climb trees and enjoy being children!
