Meg Rosoff was born in Boston, educated at Harvard and St Martin’s College of Art, and has lived in London since 1989. She is the author of nine novels and the McTavish series for younger readers, and has won or been shortlisted for 24 international book prizes. Meg is a fellow of the Royal Society of Literature and of Homerton College, Cambridge. She was awarded the coveted Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award in 2016. Meg lives in London with her husband, the artist Paul Hamlyn.
