Mark Norfolk

Mark studied Speech & Drama at Middlesex Polytechnic and Independent Film Production and Avant-garde Film Studies at the University of Wales College, Cardiff. Mark’s recent work includes a stage adaptation of the UK’s first all black cast of Shakespeare’s Hamlet which toured nationally for Black Theatre Live and an Albanian adaptation of Hamlet in Kosovo. Mark is also an award winning filmmaker producing films that screen internationally. Mark has worked as a journalist and researcher in television production and as a writer in residence in a high security prison. He is currently an associate lecturer in screenwriting at Birkbeck University.
