Heather Darwall-Smith is an experienced psychotherapist and sleep specialist based in London. She has a Master's degree in Mindfulness-based Psychotherapy and is certified in several therapies, including CBTI and MBCBT. Heather is passionate about helping her clients achieve better sleep and mental health through evidence-based techniques.

Her further training includes sleep medicine, trauma assessment, breathwork, anatomy and physiology and yoga nidra, Heather is well-equipped to address a wide range of sleep-related issues. She previously worked as a Sleep Psychotherapist at The London Sleep Centre and now runs her own private practice on Wimpole Street.

Heather is a member of the British Sleep Society and Society of Behavioural Sleep Medicine, and she follows the UKCP code of ethics through regular supervision. She is dedicated to staying up-to-date with the latest research in the field of sleep and mental health, and her clinical research focuses on the relationship between sleep and mental health, as well as the role of hyperarousal in society.

In addition to her private practice, Heather offers Corporate Sleep and Stress Reduction Programs using an evidence-based visual model. She has also authored The Science of Sleep, which has been translated into multiple languages, and is currently working on her second book.
