Amy Orrock is an art historian and curator. She has published and lectured widely on Northern European art and has curated the exhibitions Cranach: Artist and Innovator (2020), Painting Childhood: From Holbein to Freud (2019) and Bruegel: Defining a Dynasty (2017). Amy holds a PhD from the University of Edinburgh and has worked on projects at the National Galleries of Scotland, the National Portrait Gallery and the Royal Collection. She is currently Senior Curator at Compton Verney Art Gallery & Park in Warwickshire, with responsibility for the collection, exhibitions, and contemporary art commissions. Her research interests include portraiture, the body and representations of women in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries.
